Engage strengthens board with SaaS expert

Paul Bolt, Director of SMB for Microsoft UK, has joined the board of Engage Technology Partners as Non-Executive Director. Engage has experienced rapid growth since introducing its recruitment supply chain platform to end hirers and agencies in the UK. Bolt was previously VP at Rackspace, a global cloud leader which rapidly grew to over $2bn of annualised revenue, whilst listed on NASDAQ, before being purchased in 2016 by a Private Equity group for $4.3bn.

Bolt explained his interested in the Engage role: “Having been introduced to the leadership team at Engage and experienced a product demonstration I was impressed and hugely enthusiastic not just with how they are solving a business problem, but with the technology and the team behind it. As our economy increasingly leans towards an on-demand workforce, organisations face a daunting range of compliance, legislative and administrative challenges. Technology will be the driving force to realise the operational rigour and efficiencies these organisations seek and also provide a compelling, simplified user experience throughout the recruitment supply chain. This is a market that is ripe for disruption and Engage are well placed to take advantage of the opportunity they have identified. My goal is to help Engage reach its full potential in the market and I am delighted to have been asked to join in the capacity as a Non-Executive Director.”

CEO, Howard Hughes commented on the appointment: “Paul has extensive experience of leading technology businesses through rapid growth, which is exactly where Engage is at present. He has been instrumental in the success of technology companies through excellent customer service, marketing and commercial operations. He also brings a depth of technology industry knowledge from his current role at Microsoft that perfectly complements our in-house recruitment and payroll industry expertise.”
